Born With the Right to Happiness

Fakhriddin Yusupov

“We are born, love, suffer, fight for happiness — and rarely ask ourselves the most important question: why are we here?”

Some books end on the last page.
Others continue within us.

WHAT IF HAPPINESSISN’T SOMETHING TO FIND?

What if the right to happiness is ours from birth?

What if happiness isn’t absent — but we have forgotten where to look?

“Perhaps the greatest journey is the one that brings us back to ourselves.”

About the novel

IT’S A NOVEL.BUT BEHIND THE STORYLIES A QUESTION.

The characters in this story live ordinary human lives.

They love. Make mistakes. Earn a living. Build families. Betray. Forgive. Lose loved ones. Fear death. And search for happiness.

But gradually, events unfold in ways that make familiar explanations of life feel insufficient.

And then comes a question:

what if we know far less about ourselves than we think?

01

FRIENDSHIP

Sometimes a friend enters our life for a reason.

02

LOVE

We believe we choose with our hearts. But do we always?

03

CHOICE

One decision can change the course of an entire life.

04

DEATH

Is it the end — or the edge of our perception?

05

AWAKENING

Sometimes one question is enough to change how we see the world forever.

«Who are you without your name?»

«Who are you without your profession?»

«Who are you without your possessions?»

«Who are you without memories of your past?»

«Who within you makes decisions?»

«Why do you want what you want?»

And above all…

ARE YOU HAPPY?

If even one of these questions made you pause, perhaps this book was written for you, too.

IT BEGINS WITHA HUMAN STORY.

At the heart of the novel are people with different personalities, perspectives, and ideas of happiness.

Their friendship moves through love, money, family crises, unexpected events, loss, and questions the rational world cannot always answer.

The philosophy here does not begin in a lecture hall. It grows out of what happens to the characters.

THIS BOOK MAY FIND YOUIF YOU HAVE EVER ASKED:

  • —Why am I here?

  • —Why does something still feel missing when life looks good from the outside?

  • —What remains of a person after death?

  • —Can I live a life that isn't written by someone else?

  • —What is real happiness?

  • —How well do I truly know myself?

This book does not promise ready-made answers.

It offers something rarer — the questions worth asking.

Fakhriddin Yusupov

The author

Fakhriddin Yusupov

Fakhriddin Yusupov is an entrepreneur, writer, inventor, and independent researcher of human consciousness.

For more than 35 years, his research has centered on fundamental questions: Who are we? What is the purpose of our existence here? And what role do thoughts play in shaping our reality?

His journey of exploration has taken him through literature and philosophy, meditation, solitude, and observation of the human inner world, as well as traditional practices and modern technologies for working with attention.

Over time, these different paths of inquiry converged on one central subject: thoughts. Where do they come from? Why do some of them govern our lives for years? Can we free ourselves from automatic internal programming? And what remains when the stream of thoughts grows quiet?

Another of his works, INTEGRA, is a patented technology designed to help people consciously direct their attention and return to a state of presence. The device is now in the final stages of development and is undergoing practical testing. INTEGRA grew out of the same exploration: a search for ways to help people recognize when their attention has been captured by the stream of thoughts and automatic patterns, and consciously return to the experience of the present moment.

The spiritual traditions of Indigenous peoples of the Americas, meditation, and modern technologies are not separate interests for Fakhriddin. They are different ways of exploring a single phenomenon: human consciousness and the role thoughts play in our lives.

And at the heart of this exploration lies perhaps the most important question:

Which comes first — we or our thoughts? And if human beings are part of a much larger system, what function does the continuous stream of thoughts that accompanies us throughout our lives serve within it?

Perhaps the answer to this question has yet to be discovered. Or perhaps it will remain beyond our reach as long as we exist within the reality we call human life.

And it is entirely possible that some of these answers will form the foundation of the second part of the book Born with the Right to Happiness.

Author's Reflections

If we can observe our own thoughts — who is observing?

If we can be distracted from observing — who is doing the distracting?

And when the observer disappears — who remains?

And when the observer returns — is it the same observer as before?

Can we truly call ourselves free if we do not know who within us makes our decisions?

What you are unaware of controls you from the shadows.

The only path to your true self is to let go of everything that is not you.

A human being is a programmable system. Some live by the code of freedom, others by the code of fear. But the most dangerous are those programmed for servitude and entrusted with power.

To understand your thoughts is to discover a new version of yourself.

Only in a state of awareness can a person make a genuine choice.
